The Brief

Vitinho is a renowned portuguese animated character. Brought to the small screen in 1986, it told children that it was time to go to bed. Its huge success of over a decade of television as a cel drawing animation became a cherished memory on today adults. It’s creator José Maria Pimentel reached our friend and 3d animator Manuel Sacadura to help bring Vitinho as an updated 3D animated character without losing all the nuances of its former 2d animation. Post United was recruited to model, rig and light the animation under Manuel’s direction and José Maria Pimentel character design.
